Cheetah experiences

Two zoo staff members and a visitor interacting with a relaxed cheetah on the grass outdoors.

Greet-the-Cheetah boys

Group of five people interacting with two cheetahs in an outdoor enclosure.

Feel their fur and hear them purr!

These three boys are totally cool with each other and with our guests. They do their own thing in their spacious habitat here at the zoo, including spending time with Jamala guests when they feel like it, as well as with you.

It’s an inspiring feeling to be surrounded by 3 big cats, particularly when they are also the fastest mammal on earth!

Cheetah Walk

Three people, two men and one woman, are gently handling a cheetah lying on the ground in a forested area.

Go with Solo as he takes his regular walk to visit his old stomping ground that he grew up in with Zama, his puppy dog mate! Solo still likes to visit the lookout over the Molonglo River in the undeveloped section of the zoo.

The walk is brief and easy to handle and you then have approximately 15 minutes with Solo.
